Top mind-blowing cinemagraph gifs

Many of us have been taking photos for long. Although the still photos we take are part of our memory and remind us of the days with near and dear ones or at place we may never visit again, these are kind of lifeless for obvious reasons.

But now technology and advancement in field of photography and camera making allow us to take photos in gif format wherein we can have a portion of the photos showing motion - like a TV running in the background or fire in the fire place.

But even before that, there have been photographers and innovators, who have been adding life to still photos - combing cinemagraph and gif effect to add life to the photos.

Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg are among a few who has ventured into cinemagraph gifs and created some very stunning and eye catching effects. Here in under are some of Beck's artwork - see these and you will be simply dazed and amazed:

Top 10 Spy Gadgets that real James Bonds used in the 60s

When we watch James Bonds' movies, we are awe stricken with the secret gadgets used by the character in beating back his Russian counterparts. But we many not be surprised to know that many spy gadgets used by actual James Bonds of the secret services of Russia, USA like the KGB and CIA and other countries use almost similar gadgets which are perfectly disguised to deceive the opponents.

The technology has changed manifold, but view the following amazing gadgets with the kind of early technology of the 60s - in fact it is less to do with the technology and more to do with the innovative minds of those unknown inventors who made James Bonds' mission possible.

1. Umbrella that shot poisoned darts
2. A miniature cyanide gun
 
3. A transmitter hidden in the heel of a shoe
 
 4. CIA tool kit was designed to be concealed anally by agents in the 60s
 5. 4.5mm Gun, mounted in the chuck of lipstick by the KGB

Best of my Photos

Year 2013 has not ended as yet and like always, I await eagerly for 31 Dec ember when I shall shoot the last setting sun of the year 2013 - this time with my new Nikon CoolPix L820.

But before I do that, of course when 31 December comes, I am sharing some of my best photos that I took during 2013 with my old Sony DSC H2, my smartphones Samsung Wave and recently Galaxy S4 and of course my newly gifted Nikon CoolPix L820.

Most Unusual and Amazing Fountains around the world

Fountains are always fascinating with their innovative designs, placement and the sound created by water falling on rocks or in the ponds - this is really very pleasing. Some fountains assume immortality like the Trevi Fountain in Rome Italy, on which was based a beautiful love story of Hollywood film 'Three Coins in the Fountain.'

Then there is the grand Music Fountain of Dubai, which attracts thousands of visitors every night at the Dubai Mall. The fountain is overlooked by the world's tallest building, Burj Dubai. If you happen to be in Dubai, don't miss out this fountain from your 'must see' list. When I visited Dubai, I did make it a point to see this fountain and make video of the swaying water shots up in the sky - it was amazing.

But the fountains are everywhere in every country and city, small and big. However, some of these countless fountains make them stand out from the rest.
